"spring" break

I think the people of Minnesota need to think of a new name for the break Erik has had this week. The weather here is far from being Spring, not to mention today is the first day of Spring (supposedly).  Even Winter Break sounds more fitting since we woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground. I believe another storm is blowing in right now. We have had a wonderful time this week though. Darla and I love having Erik home and around.  We have gone to the free Zoo - yes we celebrated and spent sometime outside on Monday because it was a lovely 55 degrees. We've enjoyed watching LOST together (I am obsessed), done some shopping, had some friends over, and of course a little trip the library. I'm just thriving on these last couple days because this break will end all too soon. We love you Daddy.

How about "Winter Whoosh?" Gotta keep things light and fun this time of year, right? Well, we had some fabulous 60's and 70's weather this week and even mowed the front lawn yesterday. Now the snow storm is blowing in. So we will be sharing the view.

Do you hear the Tom Chapin song called "Library Song"? You would love it.

Love you!

You guys are such great people! Isn't it nice to finally have a break after years of BYU with no spring break!

Have a good one!
